Oh boys! :)

Okay, so I walk into my grandma Kathy's school and sit down at her desk while she is teaching. My grandma teaches 1st grade in Huntsville. Anyway. So she is teaching this group of first graders and these boys keep glancing over at me and whispering. And then the conversation went like this:
1st grade boy to the other boy: "Look at her, she's really cute! How old is she?"
All the sudden I hear my grandma say "nuh uh, boys! she's way too old for you! She's 19!"
Then the boys all look at me and start to giggle. So then all day I had different boys saunder over to my desk and say : "Kylee, Cache loves you"
Question for you: is it bad that it made my day that the first grade boys thought I was cute?? :) haha.. cause it totally did. What a fun day. I love little kids.

Are you finding everything okay?

"Hi, this is Kohl's in Layton where you can expect great things. This is Kylee, how can I help you?"

Are you tired? Do you poop out at party's? Are you feeling listless? Are you feeling rundown? Then Kohl's is the place for you! Find all you need and more! :) (if you aren't an I Love Lucy fan then you won't get that pun :) )

Do you have a hard time finding the shoe department? Do you need to know where the restroom is? Would you like to know if you qualify for the 15% off coupon? Would you like to open a Kohl's charge account? Can't find the size you are looking for? Do you need to know how much that shirt is on sale for? Do you need someone to carry that vaccuum out to your car? Do you need a telephone to use? Do you need someone to get that item that is too high up on the shelf down for you? Are you finding everything okay?

Well.. have no fear, Kylee is here! Needless to say, I am your girl when is comes to shopping at Kohl's!

Yes, I am back at it again.. being a sales floor associate brings upon many laughs, sighs, and hard work. But don't get the wrong impression. I love my job and the different adventures is brings everyday.

It's official! I am a Snow College Graduate

Mom and Dad! :)

Mel and me :)

Me and Jena :)
Wow! I am an official Snow College graduate! I am just sitting here thinking: Where did the past two years go?! So much has happened. I have laughed. I have cried. I have leaped. I have tried new things. I have had heart breaks. I have loved. I have learned. I have trusted. I have talked lots. I have listened. I have made friends. Dear friends. Best friends. Friends I will have for my entire life. I have learned new skills. I have done hard things. I have learned names of small towns. I have cooked. I have cleaned. I have worked hard. I have had rewards. I have had dissapointments. I have found my knees more than I ever have.

I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the experiences that I have had at Snow. It is something that I will always keep so close to my heart. I feel so incredibly blessed to have gotten the education and friendships there. It is so weird for me to think that I won't be seeing Ephriam for a long while. But, I am excited and looking forward to new adventures. It is so fun not knowing what is a head. I know that two years ago I could have never predicted all of the things that happened at Snow. And I know for a fact that I have no idea what is in store for me for the next two. I know that I am at home for the summer.. whoot whoot, and headed up to Utah State in the fall. :)
Life is great!
Shay, I don't know why, but I got home and I didn't have any pictures with you on my camera.. and I was so sad! I think we took a bunch on your camera.. so you will have to send those to me! aah! I love you.. thanks for coming down! You are such a blessing in my life.. and couldn't have asked for a better sister and friend! Love you!

Livin' the Life :)

Me and Jena
My date Jake

Grandma Silcox, Me, and Grandma Kathy

Utah State Ambassadors

Me and Heidi
Wow! This weekend sure flew by! But can I just say; I am loving every second.. and just trying to soak everything in.
Quick Update: there are only one week and five six days left of school.. and then I graduate.. Have I really been here that long?! It doesn't feel like it.

Okay Where to begin! :) Friday I went up to Utah State to meet my new team. On the way up I stopped in Provo to go to lunch with one of my best friends, Heidi. It was just so fun to catch up and talk! Funny story okay so we are sitting there eating our lunch when this bee happens to fly on over and just land right by me.. So I try to keep myself composed. Heidi grabbed these guys that were sitting next to us and had them come and kill the bee. It was so funny. I am so grateful for laughter and good friends!
Next stop USU! Whoot Whoot! I am so excited to be going there in the fall.. and just being up there makes me want to be up there! I am excited to work with such cute and fun loving people. I can tell that I have a lot to learn, and that there are many adventures a head of me coming up. But I am looking forward to making new friends, and stretching myself next year.
Next stop home: I stopped in Kaysville late Friday night to sleep.
Next up Nephi: Okay quick story. Kena had a dance competition in St. George this weekend.. and she forgot her costume. So While I was home I grabbed the costume and dropped it off at my cousins house in Nephi early Saturday morning, and Shay drove to grab the dress and take it to St. George! Go Team Anderson! (or I guess Anderson/ Leavitt! :) )
Next Stop Noyes Building: I had a final for communications at 9:00 am on a Saturday morning. So having not combed my hair or brushing my teeth, I sauntered in approx 8:55.. aka right on time.
Next up Final Luncheon: For ambassadors we had our final's lunch in.. and I consider myself to be the LUCKIEST girl in the entire world because my two grandma's got to come down for that. It was so fun to have them down here and to show them where I live and where I go to school, and to have them meet some of my very best friends. It brings tears to my eyes.. because it was just so fun to see them.
Next Spring Ball: I Went to the Spring Ball with my one of my new really good friends; Jake Thomas. He is witty, funny, clever, and just so nice! And a great dancer. He knew all of these ballroom dances, and so we just danced the night away. Needless to say.. it was a BLAST!
Okay, wow.. long post! thanks for tuning in! :) Love ya!

Teeth

haha.. so everyday I volunteer in Mrs. Nilsen's 1st grade class. They have now become my class :) haha.. I feel so possessive of my kids and how they are learning, and I get excited when they succeed, and get bummed out when they miss their math problems. I love Mrs. Nilsen, and she has really taken me under her wing. My grandma Kathy teaches first grade; and Mrs. Nilsen reminds me exactly of my Grandma Kathy. I have just grown to love this teacher.

.. Anyway, so that is a brief history prior to this story. Okay, so I am sitting there correcting homework when little Janna runs up to me and says Kylee, my tooth hurts so bad. I look at her, and that tooth was hanging by a string. Have you ever seen the cartoon movie.. I can't think of which one.. (Shay I know you will know what one I am thinking of) but one of the cartoon characters blows her tooth in and out cause it is so loose?. Pretty sure Janna could be this cartoon character. Haha.. So then I am laughing so hard because Mrs. Nilsen sees, and is just grabbing her stomach and saying "Janna, your going to have to wait until you get home to make that tooth feel better. You know how I can't handle loose teeth." I thought she was just kidding at first, but she was serious. I guess she gets so queezy at loose teeth. She told me that when her kids were little she would send them over to the neighbors house to have the neighbor pull the teeth because she couldn't handle it. So I was just in histarics laughing at Mrs. Nilsen's reaction. Anyway, So I said, "Janna, come here and let me have a look" So she did, and I said, "try to pull it out". She tried. It didn't come out. So I said okay, hand me a tissue. I was handed a tissue. And now for my moment of glory! Out pops the tooth! And Janna is just yelling, I can't tell from the pain or if it was more of a victory yell.. like an Oh ya! I just lost my tooth! Anyway, we got a tooth necklace from the office for her. And she did a show and tell, and told the whole class how "Teacher Kylee" pulled out her tooth for her. Wow, I felt like a Star! :) haha.. what a fun day in the first grade! I am so stoked to be a teacher!

Dream Big

(Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband)
When you cry, be sure to dry your eyes,'Cause better days are sure to come. And when you smile, be sure to smile wide,And don't let them know that they have won.And when you walk, walk with pride, And don't show the hurt inside,Because the pain will soon be gone.

And when you dream, dream big,As big as the ocean, blue.'Cause when you dream it might come true.So when you dream, dream big.

And when you laugh, be sure to laugh out loud,'Cause it will carry all your cares away. And when you see, see the beauty all around and in yourself,And it will help you feel okay. And when you pray, pray for strength to help you carry on, when the troubles come your way.

And when you dream, dream big,As big as the ocean, blue.'Cause when you dream it might come true. But when you dream, dream big.

When you cry be sure to dry your eyes, cause better days are sure to come. And when you smile be sure to smile wide, and don't let them know that they have one.And when you laugh be sure to laugh out loud,'Cause it will carry all your cares away. And when you see, see the beauty allaround and in yourself, and it will help you feel okay. And when you pray, pray for strength to help to carry on when the troubles come your way.
