Okay, I must admit, I have been a slacker in all forms of the word for not writing on my blog more often! I would like to apologize to all my fans.. haha.. ;) I will do my best at writing more often.. and as I think about what has been happening lately I could kick myself for not sharing one of the most important days in my whole life!
My twin sister aka Sunshine Shay, Shay, "tatoe", best friend in the whole world married her prince charming, Dixon Wade Leavitt on May 28, 2008 in the bountiful temple! oh my! if only I knew how to upload pictures on my blog I would upload them so you could see :) haha.. but my words are going to have to be the pictures you see I guess until I figure out how to blog better :)
Oh my! she couldn't have picked a better day to get married on. It had been raining all week.. but not this day.. it was just beautiful and sunny and just a "Shaylee" day! It was so neat because all my life me and shay would always talk about what boy we would get to meet and then marry. We always dreamed up of how we would meet them, and what they would look like.. and I tell you, it is so neat to me that Shaylee didn't settle for anything.. she found her prince charming, her soul mate! Dixon treats Shay like a queen, and I hope every girl can find a "Dixon" in their life. I tell you what it has definately been a huge hug from my Heavenly Father, to bear witness to me that He has a plan for each of us, and we are all here for a purpose, and he doesn't want us to settle for everything, and that we can be blessed if we live the best we can, and live the commandments the best we can! I am so grateful for Shay's example to me, and I just love and look up to her so much!
It was so neat to see all of the people that came to Shay's wedding and also to her reception.. Shay and Dixon have just touched so many people's lives, including my own, and it was just so neat that so many people would drive from all over Utah to come and give their best wishes.. it meant so much to me that they have such a strong support system, and I just love everyone who came!
Aah! yay! I am just so happy! I feel so undeserving and yet so blessed at the same time to have Shaylee Anderson Leavitt as my twin sister. I know that Heavenly Father knew that I needed her! What a great gift he has given me, and am forever grateful for the endless blessings that Shay has been in my life!
