My fun UEA

at frightmares with my cousin Kourt
I could not have asked for a funner UEA! We were the only college in Utah to get both thursday and friday off.. so my break started Wednesday right after school:) A few of my roomates stayed with me and we had movie watching night.. filled with Emperor's New Groove, and Ice Age, and Gilmore Girls.. Aah! loved every moment.. and if you have never seen Emperor's New Groove, you need too.. because you will laugh so hard.. isn't it funny how as we grow older we actually understand all of the jokes in the little kid movies?
I got to take my roomate to get her cast off.. and they use a cool saw! Along with that we went to Sub Zero ice cream and had the yummiest chocolate peanut butter ice cream cone ever!
I got to go watch Lynde play in her quarter final soccer game. Go Davis! I didn't realize how good of a soccer player my sister is.. but she is amazing! I loved watching her play!
Mom took all of us kids to the pumpkin patch.. and I will have to post those pictures later.. but I haven't been to a pumpkin patch in years! it was a blast.. Syd kept wanting to get the biggest pumpkin in the whole patch to take home and carve. haha.. we got some good laughs over that.
On Friday we went "on the tour" as my mom likes to say :) We got this pass called a connect pass. It is $20 for adults to go.. and you get to do all of these things in salt lake like eat at the lion house, ride the tracks, childrens museum, aquarium, planetarium, butte gardens, the zoo, this is the place state park, the olympic park, and thanksgiving point. all for $20. So we planned our day out and hit as much of them as we could! We were beat by the end of the day.. but it was so much fun!
On Saturday we were off to watch Syd play in her last soccer game! GO SWEET PEAS! Syd played great! I think she is going to follow in Lyndee's footsteps when she is older.
After that he headed to frightmares along with the whole state of Utah. I think that was a record people breaker for Lagoon.. haha.. there were so many people there! but it was a blast.. Me and Lyndee were ride buddies! :) and I love how Landon still will hold my hand! aah! it was a blast
What a great weekend! I love my family!

What an adventure of a weekend!

Okay, this is what life as a college student look like =) Friends walking down the street and talking with each other and laughing! Welcome to SNOW! On the left is my roomate Liz, in the Middle is Emma, and on i'm on the right.

Okay so on Saturday night Liz, Jena, and me were sitting there looking at some videos with my roomate. Saturday was homecoming and we just were hanging out. Well all of the sudden a video of the Mo-tab comes on and Jena was saying how she has never been to the tabernacle to hear the Mo- Tab sing before.. she had only been to the conference center. (take note this was at eleven o'clock that night) and so Jena says "guys we should go see that sometime" and Liz responds with "We should go see them tomorrow!" and we all yell "yeah!" So Liz called her parents who live in Salt Lake and told them we were coming up.. and all three of us hopped in Liz's car and drove up to Salt Lake. We got there at about one thirty.. And I am not spontaneous at all.. and I almost didn't go.. In fact, Jena and Liz had to about force me to go.. I was literally on the verge of not going. But it was a BLAST! and I am so glad I didn't miss it. Liz's house was beautiful! We went to the spoken word on Sunday and afterword we went and watched the Joseph Smith movie where my testimony was strengthened so much! What a fun, random trip! I love these girls too! They are like my sisters!

ROOMATES.. all ten of us! :) starting on the left you got Lisa, April, Mel, Whit, Liz, Me, Casey, Marleen, Amanda, and Emma! I learn so much from these girls! they are all so cute.. and I think that we have way too much fun together! :) haha..
This is my ambassador team! For homecoming our theme was "roundin up the students" so half dressed up like cowboys and the other half as students. It was so much fun! aah! I loved every second! I feel so blessed to be on a team with these guys!
FOOTBALL GAME! It was perfect weather too.. well until it started SNOWING! thank goodness for hot chocolate! haha.. This game was a lot of fun! We won it too by the way.. Snow is ranked #2 in the nation! Whoot Whoot! :)

Oh my! What a fun weekend! It started out with a football game with me Landon and Syd! =) Landon is getting quite the arm, and I think Sydnee has the personality where "anything you can do I can do better." haha.. it was so fun playing with them. We then ventured off to the Davis football game, and our neighbor stumped us with the hardest hangman game I have ever played! The word was eeyore.. and it took all the adults and little kids about fifteen minutes to finally guess it! Me and Lyndee went and got a shake and just talked for a little while. I love her so much. She is such a great example in my life, and she sure has taught me that some of my greatest teachers are younger than me.
On Saturday we watched CONFERENCE! Now all of those who had the opportunity of watching conference, wasn't it amazing? I feel so refreshed! The gospel is true.. There were so many words of comfort and hope!
Our family went and watched Landon play at his football game. He did so good! I love how cute those little boys are! And my observations that I am sure glad I am not a guy. I think I would cry if my coaches yelled at me.. but those boys love it =)
Off to Red Robin! mmmm! So good!
Shay, mom, lynd, and me all got to go have a girls night on Saturday night and went and saw the movie "Nights in Rodanthe" and to be honest, I loved it.
Family pictures were taken on Sunday before grandma kathy loses her hair. She had her first Chemo treatment on Friday. She is the strongest person I have ever met in my life. She has the best sense of humor and outlook on life. I hope that I can become more like her!
And now.... back in Ephraim there are leaves all over the ground, the weather is a jacket weather =) and I love it!
